About
Parker is a doctoral candidate in the School of Education with certificates in Digital Studies and Learning Experience Design. He uses qualitative and participatory methods to understand the literacies that Black youth practice as they conceptualize and use emergent technology tools (e.g. AI, AR, 3D printing). His work is concerned with futures and the liberatory frameworks we can leverage to make those futures more free for more people. He is on the job market, with a May 2024 graduation planned.
