Jessica currently serves as the Program Manager of the Digital Studies Institute. She joined the Institute in June 2021 to manage the DISCO Network Research Initiative after managing National Resource Center initiatives at the University of Michigan for several years. She holds a dual master's degree in Southeast Asian Studies & Public Policy from the University of Michigan. Her research interests center on the role of civil society organizations in creating social change. Her work has specifically focused on issues of Buddhist social and environmental activism and trauma informed grantmaking. Outside of work, Jessica enjoys writing, traveling, and film photography.
