Policy Talkon Modern Discourse

Co-hosted by the Ford School of Public Policy and Education Policy Initiative, Professor Celeste Watkins-Hayes will moderate a conversation with Tressie McMillan Cottom on modern discourse. They will discuss topics in Dr. Cottom's new book, Thick, including race, gender, inequality, higher education access, technology, culture, and more. Dr. Cottom is an award-winning author, researcher, educator, and cultural critic whose work has been recognized nationally and internationally for the urgency and depth of her incisive critical analysis of technology, higher education, class, race, and gender.
