Kang Kang (Connie) is a writer, scholar, and artist. Her writings have appeared in or are forthcoming from Duke University Press, Asia Art Archive, Wendy’s Subway, Artforum China, ArtReview Asia, The Brooklyn Rail, and other publications. She has organized numerous exhibitions and film programs, and has shown work at museums, galleries, and artist-run spaces in North America and Asia as one half of the artist duo Future Host. She is currently a PhD candidate in Comparative Literature at Northwestern University, working toward a dissertation that reexamines the Chinese Revolution as a settler colonial revolution through the perspectives of its ethnic minority and indigenous cultural partisans. She received a BA in Comparative Literature from Columbia University.
